Lush harmonies and soaring voices, stirring rhythms, refreshing and inspiring melodies, and engaging audience-chorale encounters; all within an intimate theatre setting are the elements that make SHINING THROUGH the show to experience this coming June 2010.  The Canticle Singers (TCS) proudly presents an eclectic collection of choral music and individual numbers comprising classics, yesteryear favourites, as well as songs form the realm of pop, folk, lounge, gospel, the silver screen and musical theatre.  Featuring selections of The Carpenters, The Beatles, Gershwin and Michael Jackson; well loved melodies as well as songs from the latest Broadway to West End musicals including Les Miserables, West Side Story, Billy Elliot, Jekyll and Hyde, In The Heights, The Colour Purple and others;  It will be a show to remember and talk about.

TCS is one of the country’s most accomplished and versatile choral groups and has staged full concert and dramatic musicals such as Two From Galilee 2002, Do You Hear the People Sing? which won TCS a nomination for Best Group Performance-Voice Boh Cameronian Arts Awards, Refugee:Images, For the Love of Music, A Grand Night for Singing, Be Our Guest and Two From Galilee 2009.  TCS productions have benefited charitable causes in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Philippines.

5.) STUDENT RUSH TICKETS
Available one hour before the start of the show, students with a valid student ID will be able to purchase any remaining seats in the house at a Student Rush price of RM38 per ticket.
Each student is allowed to purchase a maximum of 4 tickets for himself/herself and three other fellow students with valid IDs. Please note that IDs may be checked. The Student Rush Tickets are applicable to the 8.30pm Thu 3 June 2010 and the 3.00pm matinees on Sat 5 and Sun 6 June 2010 performances only.

* One ticket admits one person only.
* All children aged 8 and above are required to purchase ticket for admission. No admission for aged below 8.
