Marketing & Business Development Manager/Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:

1.     To support the Senior Manager in:
•   Working with top management in the identification of new market, exploring new market segments, trends of products, solutions and services by gathering and collating business intelligence information.
•   Building new revenue streams and enhance existing revenue streams
•   Building & maintaining relationships with all clients and partners to protect and maximize sales.
•   Liaising and leading cross functional teams consisting of other internal departments to ensure an exceptional level of Service Delivery, Customer Service and Problem Solving in an effective and timely manner.
•   Project manage/supports project manager throughout the delivery phase, helps customer realize value from the investment and identifies leads for further business.
•   Other duties assigned by Management from time to time

2.     Marketing Focus
•   Provide marketing support to Business Units to achieve marketing target.
•   Analyse emerging market trends and create marketing opportunities by developing marketing programs.
•   Plans, develops, coordinates and executes marketing policies and programs.
•   Plans, develops, coordinates and execute customer acquisition and retention policies and programs.
•   Responsible to manage marketing activities

3.     Business Development Focus
•   To identify sales leads and follow-up sales opportunities
•   Develops, communicates and executes business development plans
•   Undertake market research, industry and financial analysis to support project venture and facilitate all briefing materials / write-up.
•   To manage and provide superior customer service to client accounts to maintain and expand sales.
•   To maximize sales and profitability with specific client accounts

Requirements:

•   Degree or higher in Marketing, Business Studies or related. Diploma holders can be considered is previous job performance demonstrates candidate’s capability.
•   At least 3 years experience in conceptualising and running marketing programs and/or business development role.
•   Experience in developing, presenting and justifying business or marketing case/model/proposals.
•   Experience as a Change Agent will be a definite advantage.
•   Pro-active
•   Excellent communication skills
•   Able to project manage cross functional teams.
•   Strong analytical skills
•   Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
•   Preferred language(s): Chinese.
•   Possess own transport
