About Teresa Teng:
Teresa Teng was an immensely popular and influential Chinese pop singer. Her voice and songs are instantly recognizable in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Japan. She was known for her folk songs and romantic ballads, most of them reached classic status during her lifetime. Her songs were so popular in China that they even bypassed the mainland censorship. Teng died from a severe asthma attack while on holiday at the age of 42 on May 8, 1995.
About Delphine Tsai Xing Juan:
Delphine Tsai Xing Juan is a renowned singer and host from Taiwan. She was also known for her Chinese folk songs and has a soft and sweet vocal that resemble to Teresa Teng, hence she got the name of “Little Teresa Teng”. Delphine is twice nominated in the Taiwanese Golden Melodies Awards and the TV singing variety programme that she hosted had won the Taiwan “Jing Zhong” Awards for three continuous times.
