KONSERT ROCK LEFTHANDED FEAT. FRIENDS in Aid of Mercy Malaysia collaborating with King of Stage
Lefthanded was formed by Man Keedal in 1979. With 6 Top Hit Albums selling more that 100,000 units, need no further introduction in the local rock music scene. The band have had lead singers such as Ramli Sarip, Rahim Maarof and Nash to name a few being one Malaysian’s top rock crooners.
In year 1986, their debut album ‘Keadilan’ sold more than 100,000 units. For the 4th AIM held by NTV7 in 1997, Lefthanded won the Best Rock Album called ‘Nafas’.
Now they are in the midst of doing a compilation album of Lefthanded. They are one of the pioneers of Malaysian Rock music and have now become a legend in their own right.
The concert will feature dynamic rock stars Amy (Search), Awie (Wings), Mus (May), Hattan, Shima and Guitarist Joe (Wings). The band Aisunam, winner of Rentak Juara 2008 RTM will make a special appearance.
King of Stage, consisting of 10 Indie Bands will heat up the event starting at 3 p.m. with a line up of young, energetic bands such as Bunkface, Pop Shuvit, Jump-p, Rock & Roll John, Kid & Xera, The Times, Couple, Roots & Boots, The Pilgrims and The Federated.
Part of the proceeds of the concert shall be donated to Mercy Malaysia in aid of peace, harmony and war relief.
