Popular Australian pop rock band, Air Supply is set for another ‘come back’ concert on 4 October 2009 at Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands at 8pm. Organized by Star Planet, this concert themed “Air Supply ENCORE 2009 Live in Malaysia” is intentionally brought back to Malaysia due to popular demand by the local fans.
Air Supply performed 2 consecutive sell-out concerts in Malaysia last year and they recently performed one show in Kuala Lumpur and all tickets were grabbed up! The band started out their world tour in 2008 and fetched tremendously good response. They continued to impress their audience across the globe with spectacular performances. Their repertoire of greatest hits continues to touch the hearts of millions of fans. Graham and Russell never fail to entice their fans with their uniquely powerful vocal, strong sense of humour and more excitingly, most of their live concerts turned out to be mass karaoke sessions.
Air Supply’s international breakthrough came about in 1980 and the band gained international acclaim as the master of pop rock after their multi-platinum-selling album “Lost in Love”, which recorded sales in excess of 20 million copies.
Some of their hits such as ‘Lost of Love’, ‘All out of love’, ‘The One That You Love’, ‘Sweet Dreams’ and ‘Making Love Out of Nothing at All’ are among popular hits that topped multiple charts and awards. The duo has enjoyed almost a decade of Top Ten hits in American and the world. Today, these greatest hits of all times are still widely played on the radio.
