CUCI comes to life on stage in a vivacious musical theatre production at Istana Budaya from 23rd October to 8th November 2009.

CUCI THE MUSICAL revolves around the story of four adopted brothers, who move to the big city as window cleaners with nothing but big dreams in their pockets. They aspire to win the most coveted contract in the world of window washing, which is cleaning the windows of Malaysia’s most iconic landmark - the KLCC twin towers! The stellar cast line-up includes: AC Mizal , Afdlin Shauki, Awie, Hans Isaac.

They will reprise their roles as in the film for this comedic but heartwarming presentation of the ordinary Malaysian with spirited ambitions, which successfully depicts the patriotic spirit of Malaysia Boleh! Laugh and cry with this endearing motley crew as they live and learn about true family ties and brotherhood, loyalty and national pride. The supporting cast for the musical includes Harith Iskander, Vanida Imran, Adibah Noor and Ramli Hassan.

Award winning directors Dato’ Zahim Albakri and Harith Iskander teams up for the first time to bring you this world class musical. Combine this with a witty script by funnyman Douglas Lim, who also composes the pulsating score with composer and lyricist Pacai (Dr Syed Ahmad Faizal Al-Attas), musical direction by Rudi Muhamad, ingenious sets by award winning production designer Raja Maliq and dazzling choreography by UK based choreographer and West End star Stephen Rahman-Hughes, CUCI THE MUSICAL promises to be an electrifying production that will keep audiences’ feet stomping for more.
