Step aside SNL, Little Britain and MADtv! indicinelive! (in-DEE-see-nee-live-!) is klpac's brand-new sketch comedy premise, parodying the ofttimes crazy society that we live in. Featuring an ensemble of serious comic writers and players every episode, indicinelive! features familiar characters in even more familiar situations, with a few musical numbers thrown in too! indicinelive! is, essentially, a generous serving of how we see the world in fun-sized pieces.
Directed by klpac's director-in-residence Kelvin Wong, indicinelive! opened its inaugural 2010 season in April, playing to packed houses on extended runs with after-requests for second and third helpings.
And so we're back with Episode Two with a fresh line-up of originally-written sketches and parodies – a special musical guest too to round up every night! indicinelive – Episode Two will play at klpac's indicine for a very-limited run of 7 shows from July 21st – 25th.
Featuring the Player Ensemble of Sani Zainal Abidin, Shirin Jauhari, Claudia Low, Oliver 'Ollie' Peters, Freddy Tan, Uihua, Marvin Wong and Nabihan Yaacob. Written by Kevin Larken, Patrick Lee, Adriana Nordin Manan, Shern Chong, Sharad Vemalanathan and Amir Yunos.
