Contemporary pop rock band, MLTR started out the “Eternity 2009 World Tour” with the first gig took place in Grindsted, Denmark in May. The forthcoming live concert in Malaysia which is also part of MLTR’s world tour will see Jascha Richter, Kåre Wanscher and Mikkel Lentz enthrall the Malaysian audience with their popular love ballads.

With global record sales of more than nine million units since their debut album ‘Michael Learns To Rock’ in 1991, their ballads—‘the actor’, ‘sleeping child’--are the lilting songs that sparked the MLTR-mania.

The album “Colours” included the singles "Sleeping Child," "25 Minutes" and "Out of the Blue" released in 1993 recorded over 1 million sales. And their third album, “Played on Pepper” with greatest hits included "That's Why (You Go Away)" and "Someday" came out selling 1.2 million units two years later.

In 2007, MLTR released "The Best of Michael Learns to Rock Live" and in July they toured Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand and Malaysia. Two-night concert series in Malaysia achieved overwhelming response and the concerts turned out to be a mass karaoke session with audience singing along with gusto.

MLTR's music has been described as a Scandinavian glow that meets the international pop song, something which has been refined through the years by artists such as The Beatles, The Eagles, Elton John and Billy Joel. It's precisely the perfect balance of the two elements described above that has been instrumental in forming the compelling sound of the band and won MLTR millions of fans around the globe.
