Once there was a quiet, shy and timid young man named Ah Goon who lived alone in his little one room flat with his most prized possession; his Ah Ma's old cuckoo clock. Ah Goon wrote story books for children and came home everyday very late and tired.
One day, Ah Goon came home tired and bored as usual, it was his Ah Ma’s birthday today, so before going off to bed he walks to the cuckoo clock and picked up his Ah Ma's picture, looks at it for a while, placed a rose beside it, and wished her happy birthday.
The clock strikes three AM as it does every night but this night, something happens unexpectedly. The wooden cuckoo bird after cooing; suddenly becomes alive and mischievously casts a spell onto all the furniture making them all come alive and run away.
Ah Goon woke up and is both surprised and scared. The mischievous cuckoo bird creeps away trailing him into a series of silent dreams……………
